About Us
We are a long-established business based near Bangor in North Wales in the foothills of the Snowdonia mountain range.
In 2007, Dick Hayward retired from the day-to-day running of the business to concentrate on what he likes doing best - propagating ferns. Directors Ben Kettle and Jennie Jones run the nursery. Both scientifically-trained, Ben is an ecologist and plantsman with landscaping and habitat creation skills and Jennie is a keen gardener with an interest in sustainable development. We each have skills and experience that are complementary to each other and are working together to improve the way we do business. We are working hard to build on our reputation of being the number one fern nursery in the UK by bringing our customers the best plants available in the UK today and providing the very best service.
We welcome visitors to the nursery throughout the year by appointment - just contact us to let us know when you would like to come.
